Greek pittas with grilled peppers, Halloumi cheese, and garlic sauce

Ingredients:pita breads 4 pieces, Knorr Greek salad dressing mix 1 package, Hellmann’s garlic yogurt sauce 4 tablespoons, red bell pepper 1 piece, red onion 1 piece, iceberg lettuce 1 head, arugula 1 handful,
halloumi cheese 100 grams, olive oil 6 tablespoons, black olives 2 tablespoons, | Preparation:Step 1: Toast the pita breads on both sides in a dry, hot pan. When they puff up, remove them and cut each one open to create pockets. Step 2: Cut the bell pepper in half, remove the seeds, drizzle with olive oil, and grill it. Cut the cheese into thick slices and grill it on both sides as well. Step 3: Slice the grilled bell pepper into thin strips and cut the cheese into smaller pieces. In a bowl, combine the pepper, cheese, onion rings, olives, arugula, and chopped iceberg lettuce leaves. Step 4: Mix the Knorr salad dressing with three tablespoons of water and the same amount of olive oil. Add it to the chopped ingredients. Toss the salad well. Step 5: Fill the prepared salad into the sliced pita breads, then place them on a hot grill and toast for 2 minutes on each side. Before serving, open the pitas and drizzle with Hellmann’s Garlic Sauce. Ready! |
