Course Progress and Certification
HYBRID FORM
Step One: After creating an account on our platform and selecting the training, each candidate is required to complete the necessary documents in the Ocean Angels system.
Step Two: Every candidate must attend a series of three two-hour online meetings with an OAC instructor. These sessions are conducted through widely available video conferencing applications. If an applicant doesn't have the app, the meeting occurs via OAC's provided system.
Step Three: The e-learning segment follows the online meetings with an OAC instructor. This phase is mandatory for each candidate. It involves self-paced theoretical sessions not delivered in a traditional classroom setting.
Step Four: In the final stage of theoretical training, the participant must complete a test to verify the acquired knowledge from the previous steps. Passing the exam allows registration for the face-to-face training, which varies in duration based on the selected service, ranging from 5 to 10 hours (one to two days, depending on the number of participants).
Step Five: Participation in the face-to-face training enables the candidate, depending on the sought qualifications/certificates/licenses, to take the exam*. Exams occur either on the last day of the face-to-face course or the subsequent day.
Step Six: Upon completion, the candidate awaits the radio operator's documentation based on the chosen organization or qualifications.
STATIONARY FORM
Step One: Similar to the hybrid format, candidates start by creating an account and filling in necessary documents on the Ocean Angels platform.
Step Two: Candidates are required to attend a 30-minute online meeting with an OAC instructor. This session, conducted through widely accessible video conferencing applications or OAC's provided system, aims to provide essential training materials and prepare participants for the full on-site training.
Step Three: Each candidate is obliged to participate in a 10-hour on-site training divided into theoretical and practical modules. These sessions occur at various locations within European Union countries in facilities designated by OAC.
Step Four: Completion of the on-site training allows the candidate, based on the sought qualifications/certificates/licenses, to take the exam*. Exams are held either on the last day of the on-site course or the subsequent day.
Step Five: Upon completion, candidates await the documentation authorizing yacht operation or confirming the acquired knowledge and skills.
