The International Sailing Schools Association (ISSA) is one of the largest international sailing organizations. Its goal is cooperation with other organizations and private sailing schools operating in the broadly defined maritime domain. ISSA has a long tradition of sailing education and training under sail. ISSA certificates confirm both theoretical and practical skills. Since early 2014, ISSA GLOBAL sailing and motorboat certificates issued in Europe follow a unified worldwide format.

What do we offer?

The Boat Master by ISSA course is one of the most comprehensive training programs preparing participants for professional operation of vessels both on inland waters and in coastal areas up to 10 nautical miles from the shore. It is an excellent choice for individuals planning to work in the motorboating sector or those who want to obtain international qualifications to operate recreational and commercial vessels. A unique feature of this course is its accessibility – unlike many other professional qualifications, Boat Master ISSA does not require prior experience. Anyone who has reached the age of 16 can participate in the training and obtain the certificate. However, Ocean Angels recommends completing a basic crew member course beforehand to ensure better preparation for professional-level learning. The Boat Master ISSA certificate authorizes the holder to independently operate motorboats for both recreational and professional purposes, including towing water skiers and recreational equipment, as well as operating jet skis without engine power limitations. The course program covers key aspects of navigation, route planning, crew management, and emergency procedures such as rescue maneuvers and safety system operations. The training takes place on modern motorboats capable of planing, allowing participants to gain real experience operating fast boats in various weather and navigation conditions.

Why train with Ocean Angels?

By choosing Ocean Angels, you receive a guarantee of the highest standard of motorboating training based on international guidelines of the ISSA - International Sailing School Association, confirmed by a quality diploma. We are the only organization in Poland offering up to 32 hours of practical training on the water, which significantly distinguishes us from other courses. Our organization is a leader in the motorboating training industry, providing full preparation for independent vessel operation for both recreational and commercial purposes.

The course price is 4450 PLN and includes all necessary elements of the training, including the ISSA certificate issuance fee, meaning that participants incur no hidden costs. Boat Master ISSA according to the statement of ISSA (International Sailing School Association) is the only certificate of its kind in the world that has the status of an internationally recognized professional document, which gives its holders real employment opportunities and the ability to legally operate commercial vessels in different countries.

In addition to the certificate itself, participants also receive:
    - a certificate confirming completion of training in accordance with national and international standards,
   - a certificate compliant with EIEA (European Independent Expert Academy) standards, which increases the value of the obtained qualifications on the job market,
    - a first aid course completion certificate in accordance with the guidelines of the European Resuscitation Council,
    - the possibility to obtain a "Safe Yacht" certificate for their vessel, emphasizing high operational and safety standards,
    - 12-month PREMIUM membership in Ocean Angels providing access to additional training and industry events,
    - a membership card,

The training is conducted on modern motorboats capable of planing, ensuring that participants gain real experience in maneuvering fast boats and acquire practical skills necessary in the daily work of a skipper. Our instructors are experienced professionals who not only hold international qualifications but have also trained both amateurs and future professional skippers for years, emphasizing practical aspects of vessel handling as well as safety procedures and maneuvering in challenging conditions.

Boat Master ISSA is a certificate that provides real international qualifications, opening new perspectives both for those planning a career in the marine industry and those who want to develop their passion for motorboating. Ocean Angels guarantees professionalism, the highest quality training, and preparation for safe and legal operation of motor vessels on inland waters and in coastal zones up to 10 NM.

Who is this course for?

Boat Master ISSA is a unique professional certificate on the market that stands out among other motorboating qualifications. Unlike national licenses or permits, Boat Master ISSA is internationally recognized as a professional qualification, allowing holders to operate motorboats both recreationally and commercially.

Based on current information across Europe, Africa, Asia, and Oceania, there is no other certificate of this type in other motorboating organizations, which makes ISSA the only federation officially offering such a document. ISSA possesses recognition documents confirming the status of Boat Master as a professional certificate, which means that its holders can legally work as vessel operators in many countries without the need to pass additional exams.

This training is intended for a wide group of participants, both those who plan a professional future in operating motorboats and those who want to obtain international qualifications exceeding standard recreational certificates.

The Boat Master ISSA course is an ideal choice for:
    - people who want to work as operators of commercial vessels,
     - jet ski operators and recreational equipment operators who want to legally run their business,
     - people working in the water industry, e.g. motorboating sports instructors who want to expand their competencies,
    - motor yacht owners who want to obtain official international professional qualifications,
    - individuals planning to start their own business in the motorboating industry,
    - motorboating enthusiasts who want to improve their qualifications,

Thanks to Boat Master ISSA, certificate holders gain real international qualifications that allow them not only to develop their passion for motorboating but also to use their skills professionally. The lack of an equivalent certificate in other motorboating federations makes it the best choice for individuals seeking comprehensive international qualifications with the possibility of commercial use.

By choosing Boat Master ISSA, participants invest in elite training that provides a competitive advantage in the market and opens the door to legally operating motorboats worldwide. Ocean Angels guarantees the highest quality education and comprehensive preparation for the role of a professional motorboat skipper!
