The training program includes both advanced port maneuvers and open sea navigation, as well as advanced aspects of navigation, voyage planning, meteorology, and emergency procedures in maritime conditions.
The course is intended for individuals who are at least 18 years old, have appropriate sea experience, and possess the skills required at the ISSA Inland Power Yacht Skipper level. The training takes place on offshore motor yachts equipped with modern navigation systems, allowing participants to gain real experience in operating vessels on the open sea.
During the training participants learn advanced navigation techniques, the use of nautical charts, route planning based on tides and sea currents, and crew management in demanding conditions. In addition, the course includes exercises in maneuvering in confined spaces, safety procedures in the event of failure, and simulations of emergency situations such as man overboard, running aground, or engine failure.
After completing the training and passing the exam, the participant receives the prestigious ISSA Inshore Power Yacht Skipper certificate, which allows the holder to charter and operate motor yachts in coastal zones, giving them the freedom to explore sea waters around the world.

Types and course process
THE COURSE CAN BE CONDUCTED IN TWO VARIANTS – YOU CHOOSE WHICH ONE
Hybrid form
Step one:
After creating an account in our system and selecting the training, each candidate is required to complete the documents required by Ocean Angels in the system,
Step two: Each candidate is required to attend a series of three 2-hour online meetings with an OAC instructor. Meetings take place via commonly available videoconferencing applications. If the candidate does not have such an application, the meeting takes place through the system provided by OAC.
Step three: E-learning training which must be completed after the online meetings with the OAC instructor. This stage is mandatory for every candidate and is a theoretical self-study form that does not take place in a traditional classroom.
Step four: In the final stage of theoretical training the participant is required to complete a test to verify the knowledge acquired in previous steps. Passing the exam allows the participant to enroll in the on-site training which, depending on the selected option, lasts from 5 to 16 hours (one to two days – the duration depends on the number of participants and their preparation after the previous online and e-learning training).
Step five: Completion of the on-site training authorizes the candidate, depending on the licenses/certificates they are applying for, to take the exam. Exams take place on the day the on-site training ends or on the following day after the training.
Step six: Depending on the organization or license chosen by the participant, the final step is submitting an application for the document or waiting for the document authorizing yacht operation or confirming the acquired knowledge and skills.
On-site form
Step one: After creating an account in our system and selecting the training, each candidate is required to complete the documents required by Ocean Angels in the system,
Step two: Each candidate should participate in a 30-minute online meeting with an OAC instructor. The meeting is conducted via commonly available videoconferencing applications. If the candidate does not have such an application, the meeting takes place through the system provided by OAC. The purpose of the meeting is to provide basic training materials and prepare the participant for the full on-site training.
Step three: Each candidate is required to participate in a 24-hour on-site training divided into two modules: theoretical and practical. Trainings take place in various locations within European Union countries in facilities designated by OAC.
Step four: Full participation in the on-site training authorizes the candidate, depending on the license/certificate they are applying for, to take the exam. Exams take place on the day the on-site training ends or on the following day.
Step five: Depending on the organization or license selected by the participant, the final step is submitting an application for the document or waiting for the document authorizing yacht operation or confirming the acquired knowledge and skills.
