What do we offer?
“Adriatic Basics” is an offshore training cruise on the waters of the Adriatic Sea,
conducted in a format combining training, sailing and recreational elements.
During the 7-day program participants take part in a full training program including:
- marine navigation
- meteorology in Mediterranean conditions
- yacht construction and operation
- seamanship work
- port manoeuvres and anchoring
- operating a yacht on open and coastal waters
- route planning and watchkeeping
The training is conducted by an experienced captain–instructor team,
with emphasis on practical skills and participant independence.
The program is enriched with recreational and tourism elements:
- visiting ports and historic cities of Croatia
- stops in bays and near beaches
- water sports (snorkeling, towing an inflatable boat, water skiing)
- beach parties
- relaxation activities (yoga)
- Latin dance
Recreational participation – is it possible?
Yes.
If you would like to take part in the cruise without actively participating in the training,
you can choose the recreational format.
The constant presence of the captain and crew means that:
- all navigation and manoeuvring duties are handled by the crew
- you decide which elements of the program you participate in
- you may treat the cruise as a yacht holiday with an optional learning experience
Where do we sail from?
- Embarkation: Marina Sukošan (Croatia)
- Disembarkation: Marina Sukošan
The cruise route runs between the islands and ports of the Adriatic
and is adjusted according to weather conditions and the captain’s decision.
